MEFS policy is to provide the highest standard of flight training at an affordable price with the emphasis on a total safety environment. It is our aim to make the training process as enjoyable as possible.

DGCA Commercial Pilot License (CPL):  

For Indian students, we have a customised package for CPL (including MEIR) as per the DGCA norms.  This program would comprise of 215 hours of total flying time in aircraft including 100 hours of solo, 50 hours of cross country, 40 hours of instrument flying (20 hrs in a simulator) and 10 hours of night flying. This meets the requirements of DGCA to convert a New Zealand CPL to an Indian CPL once you are back in India.

Course duration & pricing:

The DGCA CPL can be completed in 8 months (practical component only). If tuition for ground subjects is required, the total course cost is $61,022 (including tuition fees $5749). Please factor in a further 3 months to complete the coursework for theory exams. These can be self-studied and completed overseas before arriving at MEFS to save time and costs.
