Multi-engine Instrument Rating (MEIR):
For MEIR, the student needs to have cleared the 6 CPL ground subjects examinations and have flown 50 hours of cross county as Pilot-in–Command. An Instrument Rating (IR) requires 40 hours instrument time, of which 20 can be done in a simulator. Three IR theory subjects need to be completed.
MEIR costs $18,643 (includes 25hrs of twin time)
